Many employers offer workplace charging to their employees to encourage the use of zero emission vehicles. Most offer Level 1 (120V) with no access controls, or Level 2 (208V- 240V) charging with some kind of access control to the charger.
Offering Level 1 charging to employees can be as simple as installing a row of 120V outdoor outlets in a parking lot. Another option is installing low-cost fixed-in-place chargers. |

If your company does not yet offer workplace charging you can inquire with the HR department or facilities management about installing charging stations. Federal tax credits are available. Some utility companies and state agencies offer rebates on charge station installations.
